Where we are, section 8 will pull a voucher when tenants get out of line with the terms of the lease.That being said, if you really want them out you can incentive them to move....maybe a couple hundred bucks (given after they sign a move out agreement and are physically out of the unit with all thier stuff) in exchange for the keys is the most cost effective way to go?

I called and emailed the local S8 administrators and they said there was no recourse and they wouldn’t consider revoking their voucher.

Note that they are pushing this as the "housing choice voucher program" instead of "Section 8" (a term which they are allegedly trying to phase out for obvious reasons).The guy defending it was trying to tell me that it wasn't a mandate and I kept pointing out to him that (in his own literature) it stated that all Minneapolis landlords would have to comply - and that is the definition of a mandate.
