Where we are, section 8 will pull a voucher when tenants get out of line with the terms of the lease.That being said, if you really want them out you can incentive them to move....maybe a couple hundred bucks (given after they sign a move out agreement and are physically out of the unit with all thier stuff) in exchange for the keys is the most cost effective way to go?  

I called and emailed the local S8 administrators and they said there was no recourse and they wouldn’t consider revoking their voucher.

They have Public Housing, Housing Choice Voucher (Section 8) and also own apartments of their own.

Your best bet is to advertise on rentlinx.com and click the box that you accept vouchers.

Pay special attention to the voucher amount versus the rent you are charging in the lease.

The other tenant is on a voucher program similar to Section 8.

Basically, families in the program are given a voucher for a house with a specific number of bedrooms.

Two tenants have now mentioned they have a voucher for section 8, and one specifically states I could get a lotmore for rent going the section 8 route.

It's just like getting normal tenants except you also accept vouchers 

Note that they are pushing this as the "housing choice voucher program" instead of "Section 8" (a term which they are allegedly trying to phase out for obvious reasons).The guy defending it was trying to tell me that it wasn't a mandate and I kept pointing out to him that (in his own literature) it stated that all Minneapolis landlords would have to comply - and that is the definition of a mandate.
