Having studied and passed the CA exam, I can't imagine one weekend seminar being able to cover everything AND still pass the exam.On the other hand, if you'd had your license in the past and just need a refresher - this might be a great option!

It sets unrealistic expectations that you can execute it as a newbie from anywhere with not much cash, and because I’m honest about that I see a lot of investors go to other agents to buy houses that when I see what they bought I know it doesn’t work (see their posts on FB forums usually asking for advice because they are having problems with the $30,000 house they bought in a bad area and their property manager/contractor/etc won’t give champagne service for sparkling water prices).

For example this post is showing up twice for me but I only see one thread in the "Foreclosure" forum.It may just be a slow refresh because now when I go back it only appears once on the recent posts list....

@Steven HermanI would offer 5%, but if the agent insists on 10%, make sure that the ongoing 10% includes the leasing fee and managing the contractor(s) during the unit refresh
