I am currently doing a crash course to learn as much as I can, and hoping to take the plunge in the next few months.

On a good month of sales I can save 20k+ but on a bad month maybe only like 5kI have 101k saved in the account but I’m hesitant to plunge it all into my first deal, so that’s how I came up with 50k was using half, so that I have some easily accessible cash in reserves for living expenses, emergencies, etc.

You could do something similar- and/or get a realtor's license while you're in school, and/or get a job with a real estate development company while you're in school, or something like that.What if you find out you don't like real estate investing after you've plunged your college savings into it?

I took the full time plunge over 5 years ago.

I know this post is a couple years old but did you ever make the plunge into investing in Windsor, ON?

I also hope this encourages investors to take the plunge and TRUST but VERIFY.
