@John SamuelsonI would just freshen it up to current rent standards and rent that for a while collecting on the cash flow and the appreciation will be icing on the cake when you want out.

That was a ton of fun, but all conversations were fairly brief (understandably) because there was so much going on.I've set up several keyword alerts and have started devouring the podcasts like they're my favorite ice cream. :) I'll definitely be reading the beginners guide and finishing up the UBG video course.

Regarding appreciation, yes as Brandon says appreciation is the icing on the cake (especially when it comes to Baltimore, generally speaking).

Anyways, my point is that I like to provide high quality dwellings and furnishing/appliances but I remove anything I can that will potentially be a headache or break...i.e. nice big stainless fridges but without ice makers in the door.

We had a similar situation occur where the guy was arrested and deported through ICE.
