Hello Friends, I am looking for info on how to track down the foreclosures, I went to an auction today to observe and learn, but how do you find them before they go to auction? 

I just want to observe for now.

They seem to skew to the high side too, but that's just my own personal observation.

Everything above is my personal opinion and my personal observation from working full time in this business over the last three years.  

Now you get to see more rentals (my guess is 25% or so are now rentals), and in them, you get to observe a lot of subsidized tenants. 5 years ago most of the inquiries I received were from Section8 voucher holders.

I did  observe that these neighborhoods were the first to rebound in terms of price after the recession – almost immediately-- and are seeing significant appreciation.
