I do know of some private lenders who will loan to Canadians as well, so while cash is easy and widely accepted of course, there are some lending options out there.

I'm thinking it's a hearth room, put a fireplace in, open the wall over the sink if it faces that exterior wall, you don't have to take the wall out, just an opening, that together with the wide traffic area to that room from the kitchen will tie the two together, carry the same flooring throughout as Heather suggested.

Most of the gable roof is in great shape, the shed roof has one bad spot, perhaps 18 in wide and 24 inches long, near the gutter.

but then its times 10 and 3 more dont fit right so you throw em away and buy new ones, another 200 for new hardware for those doors, and oops they all still need to be 1/8th inch less wide, and guess what you dont own that tool - another $200...stuff like that...You make one thing look brand new, everything else in the room now looks like crap.
