If you had to focus on the best bang for the buck would you look at:- Whitefish (closest to Big Mountain and skiing)- Columbia Falls (neutral to Big Mountain and GNP)- Coram (presumable cheaper cost and closet to GNP but further from Big Mountain)In terms of bang for your buck, the closer you get to Whitefish Mountain Resort the better your overall bookings and ADRs will be for STR year round.

We recently took a trip to Granby/Grand Lake and loved its year-round potential, plus we both work from home even under normal conditions.So, now we are simultaneously entertaining buying a Denver duplex and renting out our unit and repeating what we did OR buying a mountain home and splitting our time between the mountains and Denver and doing STR.
