But she has zero standing to sue you for reporting/not reporting your (maybe) income.I mean, can you imagine if the IRS actually opened "investigations" based on every accusation a disgruntled ex-spouse/lover, roommate, neighbor, former employee, etc., etc., etc. made?

(We aren't stock market lovers)We got into REI looking for a place to put our cash that would give us better returns than keeping it in the bank.

I typically set aside one day a week that I let people who want to meet with me come take me out to lunch -- if Bob wants to come here the last week in August, I'll find a slot in my schedule for him. 

Holding my cash for future RE deals is my main objective, and I'm not dumping my reserves into a slot machine. 

This is why I love real estate, it gives me the ability to create relationships beyond the quick call.
