Finally, with the use of Trusts while establishing these structures you can add a level of anonymity by removing your name from public record.Actually operating an LLC does require some discipline, but it isn't rocket science.

Since they don't teach this stuff in school (mostly) and it's not rocket science (usually), with support, it's a great way to build one's personal skillset on the fast track.

I can double check, but I talked with the lender (rocket) before closing, and was told 6 months.

What an engineer does is not rocket science, it just happens to be really boring and analytical to a lot of people sometimes :)Estimate the loads of the part of the house that this post is support (I'm talking EVERYTHING, all the sub floor, walls, sheetrock or plaster, everything above it) and see how the capacity of that post section compares to the load.Don't do this to act like you have authority as an engineer, however you can be armed to negotiate and push back on your engineering firm that you hired.
