Not staining the whole industry but that was my first real experience with these type of RIA's... 

.- build front porch + railing + paint- tile upstairs bathroom, install vanity and fixtures- tile downstairs bathroom, finish creating shower enclosure- tile kitchen backsplash, finish putting in cabinets- tile kitchen and basement floors + steps- stain hardwood floors (already sanded ready to go)- install crown molding throughout- install various baseboards, railings, etc- paint entire interior- rewire one conduit (was in a closet we ripped out, so now it needs to be relocated to a nearby wall)- fix fences and stain back deck- landscape front and back of propertyThis project needs to be finished quickly so someone who can get to work this week would be ideal.  

Charge her $2000 to replace the stained carpet?

Most of the exposed lumber (attic framing, roof framing, etc.) will require sealing with a stain blocker. 

I bought 1100 ft of base board trim for $100 dollars , it had some water stains , A $1500 front door with leaded glass for $ 200 , it was the wrong color .

I purchased the property and painted it a more neutral gray, fixed some of the warn down baseboards, replaced some really ugly window fixtures and stained the kitchen cabinets a natural wood color (all in around $4k of work some self performed some contracted).

If there are serious stains or tears, you might be able to withhold some, but for general 5 years of dirt and wear, no.

While the mixing truck was in my driveway it left thick black oil stains the entire length of the driveway all the way to my back yard (my garage is detached and behind my house) I’ve contacted the contractor who said he needs to reach out to his crew, but I’’m not sure what options I have in the meantime.
