Sadly many of the banks are the corrupt ones.We can lay blame all over the place.In every facet of society in every profession there will be individuals who break the law.REO brokers are not "rolling in it" like many think.The banks squueze them for 1 percent rebate,then they get hit with computer platform fees,talking to untrained workers in other countries,banks not paying back re-imbursements etc.These large REO companies have to do a ton of volume just to break even.Brokers in the know aren't even listing REO anymore in residential and are on the buying side.No mountains of requirements and low fees.Instead the buyers broker gets a higher co-op usually than the REO broker.When the down turn first started YES REO brokers made a killing.Then all the agents came in and banks started cutting fees and upping requirements.I find it much easier now to work with the pre-foreclosure departments than the REO ones.

As an investor that also invests in MHs you will be able to help the mobile home segment of society that most other investors ignore. 

I just don't think I want to have my rent paid by taxpayers while I still have a mind that works great and should be able contribute to society in some way.

I know some sites prevent posts until you've been a member for so many days, or prevent you from starting your own thread until you hit a certain post count, or prevent you from commenting on other threads until you hit post or like thresholds - not sure if some or any of these are appropriate, but when a site becomes as popular as BP it is bound to attract some of the dregs of society, and it can only help the site and the rest of us if some of these people are flushed. 

Along those lines, this whole world of buying/selling/brokering/funding/making loans - well, so many people try to make it out to be some type of secret society that you have to be in or something. 

I was on the Board of Directors of the Ozarks Literacy Council, Chairman of Community Hosuing Assistance and Development, active with the Red Cross, American Cancer Society, on and on....make friends!

You see we do not need to garner support from those that support our cause - we need it from those that do not support our cause.Of course everything I said above can be countered with why investors are good for society, how they make the engine of capitalism function, etc - my avatar is Atlas Shrugging and walking away - I get it.

We appear to truly be going towards a 'have' vs 'have not' society.  

This is at odds with our instant gratification society.
