James,As I worked alongside several syndicators starting with some in their emerging / ramping stage, one of the best ways that they got started is to surround themselves with experts early on instead of trying to DIY w/no brand identity.

Its a legal form of ID..... a way to verify the info they have provided.I can see some reasonable apprehension with concerns about identity theft, but this would also raise some concerns about what they are trying to hide....now I want more info... not lessNo valid legal ID, then no lease....no exception

They do make stealing your identity much easier, however.Where did you find this lender?

@Ben GammonSearch the local clerk of courts website for her criminal record, check for theft offenses etc before you let her have access to your stuff!

There are about 10 different sections of my town and an identical home will sell for very different prices in each.
