I cant see a nice area in Seattle being subject to vandalism and theft like rental areas of other parts of the country.. but if your worried just put a house sitter in there for super cheap rent.. or free.

Its a legal form of ID..... a way to verify the info they have provided.I can see some reasonable apprehension with concerns about identity theft, but this would also raise some concerns about what they are trying to hide....now I want more info... not lessNo valid legal ID, then no lease....no exception
