However, one bedroom was in the basement which has walkout door and one bathroom is a toilet next to the wash and dryer (no privacy). 

My only real experience is Texas  where privacy regarding sales prevent zillow from showing actual sales numbers.

Anyhow looking at the tenant laws in Virginia you wouldn't want to violate privacy or due anything that may cause un reasonable stress.

This part of the neighborhood is not know for big privacy fences and gates, but something nice and "relatively understated" will go a long way.I would not worry about a fence in the back.

The main reason for me is privacy.

It is free for now and gives me a little privacy.

It just won't tell you what they are, for privacy reasons.This is not a new concept, but I believe in it:  The trick is get a fairly broad audience, and then start narrowing then through a series of retargeting ads.
