Hello All, I've read that if you do your own property management, the number recommendation is to not reveal that you are the owner. 

reveal that you know little to nothing about professional property management and I stand by that statement.This fantasy that PM's somehow rake in all this money while doing nothing just shows the ignorance of the person posting such stupidity.  

As my profile reveals, I'm currently out of the country and don't (yet) invest in the US.

Please do enlighten us Tim....that is...if you can without revealing facts from cases in process.I don't see how using perfectly valid 2nd liens to add security interest to private loans could be construed as unethical.
