@Daniel LevinHi Daniel,If they shut the water off, that means no flushing--that means it will still probably get used (until it's FULL) and then the bathtub (sometimes) gets used (disgusting)....so letting the water get shut off is detrimental to YOU....Also re-connections sometimes come with an added deposit required held for X amount of time.Just my 2 cents...Good Luck!

An alternative proposed by a recent HVAC company was $1100 to flush the system, bleed the radiators, and leave the existing boiler in place, but install an ecobee wifi thermostat where I can set the max allowable temperature remotely.

For the first two years I learned from a really good broker, then went out and applied this to investing, but the business I get in mainstream real estate, assisting buyers and sellers, helps pay my bills when times are not as flush and also keeps me fresh and up to date.Besides, as a licensee, you will have to maintain a certain quantity of "Continuing Education" credits for each license period (more requirements if you are a Realtor, not just a licensed real estate salesman/broker) so you can't help but stay involved to a certain degree.Best of luck!
