I was wondering if there is any fellow investors here that are finding success in 2024 and able to make a deal work for 3/2 SFH’s in Avon, Plainfield, Brownsburg areas?

We are looking to sell and wondered if it would be better to sell "turn key" with furniture and renters or turnkey with furniture or neither.

If anyone here has tried it, I’d love to hear more about their experience.Also, if anyone has suggestions for other platforms, we're all ears.

I do have experience with significant home renovation but for a personal residence, based on my experience with this I would prefer to buy a property built after 1970 if possible but not sure if that's realistic, the only deals I could seem to find from the MLS are very old houses which I know often brings more challenges with the renovation.Would appreciate any references or suggestions anyone has, so far I've only invested in rental properties that were already in good condition bought with a loan.

A STR is both a business and a real estate investment.Having little oversight on a newly formed business would make me anxious also.As others have suggested, you should consider going to the area for the initial items(Purchase, renovation, etc).Once you buy 1-2 properties, you can look to unload these items to someone else.Best of luck

To minimize risk and build a solid foundation, I'd suggest starting with a single-family home or a 2-4 unit turnkey property.
