When new investors say that no one will look out for their properties and care for their properties as well as them, without offending anyone, it sounds more like a child or a pet, and not a wood/brick/stucco building.

We can't stop everything from happening because it has a potential for a security breach.I think government and business decisions are best when they are made with a clearly analysis of the problem and targeted to deal with that problem in an economically practical manner.The real national security threat that we have is that everyone wants the government to do stupid things and blow money for their pet obsessions.

I agree a normal home is not an 'asset' that puts $ in your pocket, but something has to be said for owning your own home and not needing permission from your LL to modify your home or have a pet!
