@Nickolas Graham when I was doing this I always had the best results with a handwritten note...clean good quality folding 4x6 notecard and hand addressed envelope...blue ink...always.

If you are not related to the borrower or have past personal relationships you are not in a private lending transaction and therefore not a private lender.There are only three types of sources of funds or money, public, corporate and private, none define the type of loan made.I'd have to say the real reason individual lenders run around calling themselves private lenders is two fold, marketing as it sounds better to the prey and to avoid banking regulations, especially the latter simply denying that regulations don't apply since they use their own money, which has absolutely nothing to do with lending as an ongoing business activity. :)

If you email [email protected] and let them know the cheapest price you are getting right now for yellow letters and that you want a quote beating the price you have (printed, folded, stuffed, and stamped) they will beat anyone’s price regardless of what their website pricing shows.

With a list this small it doesn't really take much time, maybe a couple hours each week to print, fold, stuff, stamp, etc.I think that covers my process, so now my questions.First, any obvious improvements I could make?

the only thing I would add to Codys outstanding response is that I use the c fold zip.
