They appeared to not take the damage seriously... 

If by chance someone did damage the next showing would likely say something about it.

I personally don't think there will be too much damage, but am wondering what you guys think.

Electricians ran everything back in the walls with minimal damage to walls.

Breach of a lease that causes you damage is a reason for withholding. 

Regarding the tenants---   Just go in there and be polite and cordial,  get a feel of their opinion of the prior owner-- did they request a faucet get fixed for years, and now there's a lot of water damage.. 

They painted the entire interior, re-floored, fixed damage, etc.
