Trust me, I would be taking action with buying properties right now if I could - I go to the Air Force Academy, and am not allowed to own any property whatsoever while I am still attending school there!

The iron content is at it's limit, and you'll get red stains on anything where water sits as it oxidizes with exposure to air but a water softener will take care of that.
