The payoff for robbing bitcoin is immense and as a result, someone will attack it. 

Legality aside, it takes money, and immense skills to be a wholesaler because you need to be good at every aspect of real estate.  

They have immense power with little oversight.

I'd make sure all of my agents knew about the fact that you "went around" me, so they too don't end up getting screwed.If you told me that the seller was going to screw his realtor, but you would ensure that I was paid what I was owed, I would have immense respect for that.
