Use a standard color and save the paint code saving even more money as you can just touch up bad areas and will match perfectly.For higher rehabs or my own house, flat on the ceiling and eggshell for walls.

While you can put lipstick on, change carpet and paint color, floor plans become dated, boring, less functional, if you begin in a 75 year old property, you'll have a 100+ year old property in an old section by the time you get it paid off.
