If you get a quality system that you can configure to record on motion or all the time with high quality cameras that you will never have to change batteries on I think you will be much happier.My digital watchdog cameras cost between $250 and $500.

You can buy the cheap wireless set where you are replacing batteries or get what you pay for and get a good system.I recommend and use Digital Watchdog cameras and software.

Rik, There are great ways to add value to a unit that will lead to higher rents, external storage for an additional monthly charge or not including appliances as part of the rent and rent them for a monthly charge, really being creative with your investments and letting people ala carte their individual rental experience.

My first thought was to buy a house/duplex and charge rent, put the profit from rent away with money from work, then sell the house for a decent upside.Factors would include getting a good deal in the first place but as of now, I would still need traditional financing to do so.Any and all suggestion would be helpful and appreciated.Thank you in advance!
