Just to let you know I am not a landlord (not yet) and am not a 'cat lover.'

There are some banks out there who love real estate investors and business owners.

For me I love real estate so LOVE digging into good books with meaty content.Way back years and years ago I would go into Barnes and Noble bookstore and they had the chairs and sofa's where you could look at books for free.I would pull a ton off of the shelf.

It is a story of a new wholesaler who was guided by a seasoned rehabber, where it appears that the fault was with the seasoned rehabber, and it is tragic from my animal lover point of view:The investor who called me (we’ll call him Newton Newbie) had asked for advice from another very experienced investor (we’ll call her Selena Seasoned).

One was a house I bought at trustee's sale (I have audio and video of the sellers and what the experience was like for them), another one is a fire damaged house I'm renovating (literally half of the roof was gone and you could see daylight through), and another is a deal I bought from a wholesaler.I started the I Love Real Estate Stories project because no one really gets to see all of the interesting stories behind the flips.

But I love real estate bussiness.

As much as I would love RE to be a hard science there's a art to it and fluffed with some BS.

@David Wooten, I've been through this before- you need two things, a professional and time.One of my two family homes was infested- some crazy tenant with insanely poor hygiene and a horde of cats(those poor things- I'm a huge cat lover) lived there and brought a pox on the house- the other residents fled in horror as fleas descended on them.
