My wife & two of my kids have CCW.We don't collect payments they direct deposit but my son has done rehabs in some suspect arrears for friends & carries.My cousin Gino our painter carries all the time.I got my fill of it in the military.

i had one house, the walpaper did not want to come off. i steamed it, sprayed it. cut it, nothing... i started to damage the walls, that's how hard i was trying to get it off..the drywaller/painter had a secret, but he did not want to tell me. then i just hired a guy that skim coated the whole kitchen and he covered the wallpaper with it.

Also had to get rid of some horrible painters on a reno, and hire another one to 'fix' the job, but he did just that for us.

We didint fire crappy painters soon enough and our GC made a few mistakes on where to put light switches (behind cabinets etc, you would think an experienced GC would know better).Overall we got lucky with some things but we spent some money for the privilege of renovating someone else's house.You will almost certainly lose some money on your first flip (we did).

Thanks Glenn Banks I was just curious as a client told me two other painters quoted them to "sand over wallpaper" and to me that just sounds completely wrong but I thought I'd double check in case there was something I was not understanding.

They have made nail holes in the wall and patched poorly with different color and I had my painter paint the whole house without charging the them.
