I have been trying to get into real estate investing for a better part of a year in the north jersey market specifically essex county.

I’ve been pre approved for 555k in such an expensive state ( new jersey ) im aiming for something around 415k-450k.

I'm not too familiar with how they necessarily differentiate with one another, so would be great to better understand who I should be trying to seek first.For context, I'm currently beginning my journey to invest in multifamily buy-and-holds in NJ, particularly in Northern Jersey (Hudson County).Again, really appreciate any insight from the community here.

With 250K you can try Brooklyn (Bay Ridge or Midwood), or Jersey City (the Heights or Journal Square).
