The concept of "space" is very cultural .

Nobody liked to do it but we made it part of the mandatory culture at our place of business.We also worked hard at tenant retention and had a number of programs in place.

Talk about a change in culture, weather.

I try to take all of the effort that many put in trying to convince the cancel culture to stop hating your cause, and pour it into providing valuable information and guidance to a broader audience that needs the unique experiences that we've managed to gather. 

You can only invest every dollar once, you should invest it where you can make the absolute highest return, and that is certainly not anywhere near my hometown or anywhere in the northern US.I buy in the Southern half of the US for 3 reasons:1) you get much higher year-round occupancy rates in the South & it’s simply tough to earn a good ROI in the North if your place sits vacant for a big chunk of the year2) Culturally, the Southern half of the US seems to be a lot more accepting of STRs regulation-wise.

I plan to drive through the neighborhoods within the next few weeks to get a better understanding of the city/culture/development.

Island culture is interesting.

If a PM is needed in the area acquiring a current one to change the culture and expectations would be the quickest route.
