I wish I could hire people to do scouting, but the investigator from the department of commerce said if he would find out that I'm being a licensed broker pay to unlicensed person to do scouting, he would fine me 10k, plus revoke the license.

Wholesalers need to be in the middle of the deal to avoid being accused of unlicensed brokering.

I only mentioned this, because I have seen many contractors use unlicensed helpers on the job who are NOT covered under Workmans Comp which can be a liability issue if they are hurt on the job.

These laws will make wholesaling without a RE License illegal and known unlicensed wholesalers may receive cease and desist notice as there only warning... not sure when it will become official but I was told it may be as early as this summer.

@Kent Harris I have 2 unlicensed and 1 licensed a/c guys who will do it for a reasonable price.
