This is a little tricky but I've had a few buyers able to do this in their transition period between property 1 and 2 and qualify using @ray above.I would recommend getting on a call with @Ray to see your options as far as lending goes and then I'd be happy to take you from there and show you what you can do in this market as for house-hacks.

The restriction on rentals that they put up for a vote would have been steep and abrupt: no grandfathering current owners, no gradual phase-in, nothing to mitigate what would have been a great deal of forced investment-home sales in what would have been fairly brief period of time.

@Marysue ConnellyI'm not a lawyer and this isn't legal advice.Currently, if you want to discontinue a lease that is expiring, you simply need to provide a written notice to vacate to the tenant with the appropriate notice period - our lease agreement states 60 days unless a lease is month-to-month, Colorado law typically only requires 30 days notice.
