Many owners that bring a property to rent will opt for a 6-month lease at this point of the year so that the lease period resets in the hotter (temperature & market-wise) time of the year.

They have a temperature switch activated blower with Hi/Low speeds, so I installed separate wall switch circuits so the tenants don't need to lay on the floor to fumble for the switching.

I could see Chicago being a great play if they are able to solve their crime problem, and as global temperatures rise, the weather will become more ideal with time.

About once a month I get a phone call that the heat isn't working correctly, not reaching the desired temperature.

The best way I have found to avoid this is if you have the skills, weld a new cage on yourself.

They're inexpensive like a rubber roof, but the seams get welded so it's very durable like a PVC membrane.
