HUD give a maximum number of voucher slots and funds to the housing Authority and once that is filled the only options is to wait to see if vouchers are taken away from tenants violating policy or to wait the following fiscal year.

One huge difference is that in Baltimore the Housing office is much more "Pro Tenant"versus being Landlord/Tenant "neutral" in PG.

I also make sure that the email again states what our rental requirements are and that if the potential tenant wants to schedule a showing, to request a times slot during the hours I specify in the email.
