I have no interest in working in the city since it is one of the most crime ridden, poverty stricken cities in the US. per capita, it has the highest drug, murder, and crime rate in the nation.

Stories about finding babies in dumpsters, and finding people murder victims.It's a tough decision to make.

I made a lot of phone calls and had done some due dilligence but in the end, seeing the crime pattern/someone getting sodomized and murdered a block away didn't give me too much reassurance of a good investment.

When a low income area results in crime (where I'm from drugs leads to drug-related crimes such as murder, robbery etc.) then one may want to reconder holding rental property there.

You will see that occasionally because the broker is trying to get top dollar for the seller and create a mysterious bidding war.  

Everyone runs rampid and no recourse.The police won't even come out unless it's a murder so I don't see how they would get involved if I lock them out if it's just a civil matter.i went through getting a judgement with the tenants before but you can only get for rent.
