So, they spend a lot of effort in finding and closing economic loopholes that an REI'er can exploit.By hamstringing the private sector with rules that don't mesh with local real estate market conditions, the framer's primary goals of preservation are not met and they've cut off their noses to spite their faces.

I've been reading into what's refferd  to as the section 609 credit loophole where you dispute the right for someone to report on your credit based off the fact that they have to verify you through the credit agency before the loan is issued.

You can play all kinds of word games as far as this is or isn't violating the law based on loop holes, but at the end of the day you only get paid from a sale which seems like the kind of thing that you need a license for.Your fight is potentially against the state with a basically unlimited legal budget and they can levy multi million non dis-chargeable fines against you too.

There are of course other situations and loopholes but at your level, you need to involve a CPA here as even some of the loopholes I know of fade out after a certain amount of income (way below the level your at as a Doctor).

... much of it relates to modifications of older laws ...Were I determined to find a way around Dodd-Frank, I suspect the achilles heal might be found there.When Congress starts fiddling with older laws they invariably open the door to unintended consequences and so called loopholes.
