@Christine Mwai, month to month agreements, unlike leases, reset every 30 days and with proper notice allows the landlord to make changes to the agreement without tenant's consent- rent increases for example.

There are no states that allow for moving of another person's vehicle without their consent, even one inch.You're welcome to give whatever advice you want, but so am I, and your advice is not anymore correct than mine is...however, mine doesn't violate any laws.

We have also been told that a lot of other Kansas City Metro cities are going to implement too.I too, though, pick your own inspector and slip them an extra $100.However no one needs to read or review - because you I think you have to fix every thing and then probably have it reinspected to prove you made the repairs.Not sure if this proposed regulation would violate our the tenants right to interior searches with out their consent or a search warrant.

I understand - there's many layers of the situation, and I'm not looking at booting this guy as the magic bullet that fixes all our problems.But the real estate part of this is: If husband/wife are jointly listed on a mortgage, but disagree on whether a tenant should stay ... can one party press the eviction process without the other's consent?
