Ulterior motives is the understatement of the century!!

In the 10th century, people thought the world was flat.

Each person has to come to their own conclusion regarding the Spiritual aspect of life, even if that conclusion is that there is no Spiritual aspect.Over the centuries, a few people have used the facade of religion to gratify their greed for wealth, power and control.

The Ummayyad Caliphate that invaded Europe prior to the Crusades and pretty much started the centuries of conflict between Christian Europe and the Muslim Middle East was a Shia regime.

I live in this century.

Warren Buffet is still alive, but his ideals and leadership attributes are reminiscent of another time (the past century).For Tim and anyone else who comments on this thread, please humble your response and answer a well asked question.

Take your own area: if not for Auburn, Fort Benning, and eco-tourism, Columbus would still be a 19th century backwater (some would say it still is!).

For what it’s worth, I just started reading a book called “A Right to Housing” (https://www.amazon.com/Right-Housing-Foundation-Social-Agenda/dp/1592134327) to better educate myself about housing policy in the U.S. in the past century.

Ag also got hit really hard with the worst drought in centuries.  

Over decades and centuries, the US economy has grown consistently long term.
