Creating an LLC is easy and can be done yourself for very very cheap.Creating an LLC that will provide asset protection when attacked, is another ballgame.First you would need to make sure that the structure that you have chosen is adapted to your specific needs (single or multi member LLC, member managed or manager managed, which state to register, choice of registered agent, choice of anonymity options, choice of taxation status...)Then you will need a strong asset protection oriented operating agreement.

I think it's all to get senators on the record voting against such a bill, so that in senatorial campaigns in the future, claims can be made in attack ads that, "Senator So-and-So didn't support relief for federal workers during the shutdown."
