For a PMC to charge a renewal fee just to write a new lease is a BS fee though. 

Now this is an annual thing (for all new properties).For rough math, you can generate a tax write off about 15-20% of the real estate value: one a million you can expect a $150k to 200k write-offs.

Last time in my MFD ( multi Function Display) went off line and I had to break off and climb out of the clouds get on top and go back to home base.. that was a 15k  box that broke :( 

I have even had to remove the skeletal remains of disconnected K&T that was totally cut and not in use due to my insurance company wanting all existing components whether functional or disconnected to be removed.

I'm hopeful this results more so in DOGE finding more efficient and effective means of outsorucing government functions rather than blankety reducing the positions.

The reality is the opposite - if it's not in writing then the PMC doesn't have to provide the service or can charge extra for it!
