@Dutch Mendenhall I appreciate your response, but also want to reiterate that I was told it would be issued and sent weeks ago and have not been able to get a definitive answer from anyone as to what happened or what to expect timeline wise.

I don't think that's wise at all.

You can always sign a contract to buy the remaining properties anytime with a closing date scheduled for the future (not sure why he would want to do that though since we don't know what will happen appreciation-wise).
