Are there any special arrangements you need to accommodate for any of the residents (transportation in general, trips for dialysis, monitoring blood sugar levels, etc.)?

I wouldn’t want to purchase or manage STR’s in an area that is unregulated because there is a higher risk associated with the laws changing and then you’re SOL with your investment….take NYC for example or Dallas. 

Focus on areas near public transportation, job centers, and underserved communities for promising opportunities.

If it's not food, transportation, housing, or ABSOLUTE necessities, don't spend money on it.

. #1 - If you do have a home office and it is considered your principal place of business, you can deduct mileage/transportation costs to AND from your home and your investment property; both directions are deductible.

When I go to Destin for outlet shopping I feel like I've been transported to Orlando.
