After discussing with my contractor, since there is nothing backed up or leaking and the toilets and sinks are draining properly, there is nothing to repair or replace at this time.

After all documents were signed the seller told me to not flush toilet paper down the toilet bc it backs up and she doesn’t want what happened to her to happen to me.

@Yixiong Pan Since we found out about the unrecorded Welfare lien before excess funds were distributed, we alerted the Tax Claim Bureau and they paid the Welfare lien out of the excess proceeds. 

They claimed the compressor was overworking, used an outdated refrigerant that’s no longer available, the indoor coil had a cracked pan, and the system was beyond repair.

If you use the $14,000, will that leave you without sufficient reserves if the AirBnb thing doesn't pan out?

Maybe the foundation is slipping, the roof is needing full replacement, the plumbing backs up every time you are draining the tub and try to flush the toilet...

If it is the bathroom, I'd start by pulling the toilet to see if you have any problems there. 

(Now that is a financial goal on another planet from replacing your working income and retiring to plunge toilets for a bunch of Class C people who've never held a job in their life)
