Now she got it repainted with 2 coats and sends me a bill of $3500 for the living room, dining room, and stairwell.My questions about paint are:1.

Scrubbed with TSP, coat of Kilz and some paint...no more smell.

As @John Thedford mentioned, Talk to the title co., at a number you look up, for wire instructions.....scammers hacking emails and sending wire instructions from almost identical email addresses, giving instructions to wire to a bogus account are becoming rampant.

However, nothing ruins the triumphant return to your newly updated home like realizing that everything you left behind is coated in a fine, pernicious powder.

I figured at least a coat of paint at min to make rentable, or about 20k to bring both sides up to date partially...

Sanded and restained all hardwoods, gutted small powder room, remodeled bathroom (besides shower), and ripped out kitchen vinyl flooring with leftover hardwood that i had from my brothers house, redid countertops, and of course a new coat of paint in every room including ceilings.  

Average purchase time between properties is 6 months.I'd rather have 110% honesty and clarity than sugar coating your responses, so I appreciate your input.
