I'll get jumped on by the hard nosed landlords, but if you're $150 down and if you get them out of the property, it'll be down for two months and it'll cost you $5k to redo things.

I am not a hard nosed business person at all, and have lowered rent to keep a good tenant.  

I'm a super crunchy vegetarian parent, not quite vegan but I don't eat dairy so he doesn't even get a stuffy/runny nose ever.  

It's like someone saying contact a doctor every time you get a runny nose.

I'd normally agree with the early commenters on waiting for a great deal but with some knowledge of the GR market I don't see things taking a nose dive anytime soon.

If you originally intended to live there, but life happened and now moving away will improve your quality of life some how, then you have a clear case and you should be fine even if some one comes poking their nose.

I found both of my 4-plexes by nosing around and asking "who owns that?".  

So, i'd be looking for networking events that are partnership-promoting while keeping my nose out for bs-smelling things :)
