The victims are a family in Texas that loaned him their life savings.Any leads on his financial assets would be appreciated and greatly help this family.

Eventually I want to get into single family and multi family rentals.As far as effort or work on the fixers;  my brother in law is quite handy and my next door neighbor has said he would help in anything that is out of my scope of expertise. 

A lot of family businesses cannot stay in business upon parent death due to no longer getting the prop 13 property tax discount.  

@Jennie Berger The RS-3 Zone allows for Single-Family residences & 2-Flats as "Permitted Uses"; however, the RS-3 Zone still requires 2,500 sq.ft. of lot area per unit (i.e. 5,000 sq.ft. for a 2-flat) unless the lot meets the exception for the characteristic of the block as previously mentioned by Nicolas; then it can be reduced to 1,500 sq.ft. per unit in order to construct a 2-flat.

Although I don’t have experience in house flipping yet, I’ve successfully run a construction business back home.Due to the war, my family and I had to search for a new place to live.
