If we are going to reform the way a purchase and sale of real estate happens in Arkansas, let's redo it completely instead of segmenting one area of the purchasing market.

We can look back to previous prohibition reforms and maybe see where it might go geoghrapically from there.

I am not a CPA, but I just attended a real estate meetup where a CPA mentioned a few things where investing in real estate in a retirement account may no longer be attractive after 2017 tax reform.

I'm not sure 12 years of "reform" will make a difference. 

Most housing "reforms" have been rolled back, including no-doc loans and 580 credit scores      b. banks are holding 800k houses on their balance sheets still because they couldn't get rid of them, when banks are in trouble again and need cash, they might flood the market with them     c. big funds own millions of houses as rentals2.

If you recall the history of the 2017 Trump tax reform, campaign promises and early proposals had very little to do with the eventual tax law changes.

In fact, the 1987 tax reform act classified income as either earned/active income, investment income, or passive income.

This money (property tax revenue) is utilized to fund essential resources and public services for Texas citizens, including public schools, libraries, emergency services, road maintenance, and community safety measures.If property tax reform occurred, this would likely result in redistributing the tax burden by implementing state income tax or introducing higher sales tax rates to make up this shortfall.

The City's current budget is based on pension reforms likely to be found unconstitutional. 

Reforms are imminent and there is nothing certain, but uncertainty.
