Same happened to me when i applied they rejected it after I spent 40 hours chasing my tenant down.

People were chasing industrial workers on the LNG projects in 2020 and paying outrageous rates for rental housing. 

I get my rent checks via Chase QuickPay, home warranties on ALL properties so I am not the first line of defense.  

Remember, no system is perfect, so avoid the temptation of constantly chasing after the next shiny object.

Because everyone is with shinny object syndrome, or chasing some scheme, gimmick or what not.

It would not be a terribly profitable industry, and a few large players (hopefully including my NewCo) would dominate the space.

Predatory lease option investors know that and do that by design, they will keep the 5k-10k option payment after 12 months and lease/option it to the next family who is chasing after the American dream.

The vast majority of "regular" or traditional (Conv/Govt) mortgages are originated by specialty lenders and brokers and are sold in the secondary market to provide yield on bank balance sheets (think Chase or BoA) or to be securitized into MBS.

And Minneapolis is that dopy lil'brother chasing the other off a cliff.
