Jerry, "the pay really is more equal for sexes than most other professions"That is an interesting statement as I also read that there is a discrepancy in the pay scale in most professions between men and women whether you are  software engineer, physician, lawyer, accountant etc, but there is an even playing field between men and woman in how much one makes in real estate sales.

I do believe that you can ask for a letter from a physician that can explain the person has a disability that requires a service dog, but do not ask for specifics on the illness or disability even if it is not evident as that is not allowed.  

I am a resident physician paying high rent in downtown indianapolis and have been looking at the idea of buying a property in the 200-250k range to live in for the next two years while I finish my training and then rent out once I am finished and my salary increases substantially.
