I had 3 door knock teams.... one man one women... women kicked but men where there for safety.My wife is a lifelong realtor.. and there are certain things you need to do to be safe.. she kind of has a sense.. she gets crank calls and kind of has learned what situations not to be in.one of the major ones is alone with male.. she opens the house and stays on the front porch.. never gets trapped in a bedroom and would never go into a basement etc.talk to your real estate agent lady friends.. there are courses.having a firearm while great.. you have to be a quick draw and most can't hit the broad side of the barn with a pistol especially in a high stress situation..

Her boyfriend appears by all appearances to be living at the house and moved in.  2 other men are there at least 4 days a week, and none of the neighbors have hardly seen the guy I leased to and they've only seen his wife once or twice in 4 months. 

Most everyone that I grew up with never made it out and are either dead or frequent guests of the county or state, so I'm hoping that you can share your story and help other young men and women realize that their future is in their hands and has absolutely nothing to do with what they have or haven't done in their past.Good luck and I wish you continued success!

Go on Craigslist and post a notice offering fifteen bucks an hour and lunch for men under 40 years of age and above 5'11" for 2 hours of casual labor.

PCR is nothing more than an idea of whats going on, the service company does them, and many times the contractors are idiots, if you have to turn everything on when purchasing one, to feel comfortable, the deal isnt good enough, it could range from a missing water filter, or several split pipes, to a bad fill valve or cracked toilet tank, if you really need to know, air test it, if you dont know how to do that, you probably shouldnt be looking at these properties. i havent hired an inspector in over 15 years, they are a waste of money for me, but I know construction and systems, the bast thing an investor can do is learn construction and the trades, at least enough to know what you are looking at and whats ok, and whats not, even is you dont do any work. sorry to be harsh, but knowing this stuff separates the men from the boys.

Most other "auction" sites are just middle men that market the home and those homes can usually be found on the MLS too.  

They are middle men who connect buyers with sellers of rehabbed properties.
