I needed to read this because I find myself going back constantly on my property criteria so my main focus is house hacking my way to least 5 .

I understand the two main downsides of condos being monthly fees out of your control and little appreciation. 

But if it’s in the main living area and the space is already tight, then getting rid of it could help you maximize the layout.

They also normally attract really good tenants.

I am attracted to areas like Old Louisville, Frankfurt, Butchertown, Highlands, etc. - but seems like there may be some up and coming areas that I’m completely overlooking.
