If I was trying to break into the industry, I would approach a few small- to mid-level sponsors and ask if you could provide help to their organization in exchange for a mentorship.

If investors attempt to streamline their services, it can lead to a more organized approach to property management, lowers the risk of gaps in insurance coverage or missed tax benefits as well as simplifies communication and reduces confusion.

Does anyone have any excel/spreadsheet templates they use for organization and having a place where you store that budgeting and timeline information?

If it could do it what it claims to do in a more streamlined and organized fashion, it could be decent. 

Hi @Avi Manthe being a local milwaukee real estate investor here are some organizations that are worth checking out to grow your network for hard money, contractors, etc. 

We're worked with similar organizations or placement companies that help tenants in need from various situations (e.g., domestic violence).

San Diego was even going to opt in on SB10, but there was some organized backlašh so the city has not opted in (yet?). 

I heard that BP did have something that brought together investors but I don't know what happened with it.I would really love to create something similar that EO (entrepreneur organization) for real estate investors. 

I have no knowledge of their leadership or organization.  

Try researching organizations like Oxford House, which operates sober living homes nationwide, or check directories like TransitionalHousing.org for recovery housing programs in your area.
