In ca there is the balcony and stairwell inspection (sb721) that is to be completed by year end (I have not done mine and have asked 3 architects and 1 GC if they have necessary certifications to do it and none of them had the state required qualifications - but I have not tried that hard, I contacted existing contacts).

If it was your PM then they should have gotten an insurance certificate from the pool contractor and should contact their insurance company.If you hired them then you should have gotten an insurance certificate prior.
